会社の庭の蝋梅。蝋梅は梅とは違う科だとか。ミモザはつぼみ?で冬を越して桜と同じ時期に花が開きます。本日は薪ストーブで焼き芋です。春が待ち遠しい。
At my office’s garden. First pic is ROUBAI(ろうばい、蝋梅). I don’t know English name of it. A website call it “japanese allspice” or “winter sweet”. I’m not sure it’s correct or not. But actually it smells nice. Second photo is mimosa buds. They have been passing winter season as buds. It’s long time to be ready for bloom. Mimosa trees blossom in spring. Almost same time of Sakura blossom. In a sense, I prefer mimosa to Sakura. Because its yellow flower make wonderful contrast to the blue sky!!
